WOW. I think the schools are trying to wear the kids out before summer break. We have had no less than 2 major events, and as many as 4 per day at the school (this is a great week for grandma to be here). Today, it was Pet Day in Mrs Leija's class with Simon & Henry. We brought Zeke in for a little show and tell.



Later in the afternoon, Meila presented her Sea Cucumber report to a packed house- everyone had a parent there. The Sea cucumber was dimensional, stuffed and lifelike for sure. Meila was quick to test us on our sea cucumber knowledge and took pleasure in our confusion about which end the waste came out of. Now we know it's the little end, not the end that looks like a butt. Meila is very comfortable riding on grandmas lap. Very.




Finally, we tackled some movies this afternoon. We haven't been around the theater a lot in the last couple of weeks, but they booked a kids show and we took them up on it. It's kind of fun to be on the other side of the counter, kind of.
